I am a Partner at Wenokur Riordan PLLC, where I help businesses, fiduciaries, creditors, and other stakeholders navigate complex insolvency, restructuring, and commercial litigation matters. With more than 20 years of legal experience and an M.B.A. concentrating in Finance, I combine legal strategy with practical business and financial analysis to help clients resolve distressed situations and position themselves for long-term success.
My practice focuses on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings, creditors' rights, commercial litigation, out-of-court restructurings, and matters involving complex tax issues. I represent debtors, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, bankruptcy trustees, receivers, asset purchasers, and other parties in insolvency proceedings. I have extensive experience litigating fraudulent transfer and preference actions, lien avoidance proceedings, contested bankruptcy matters, and commercial disputes through discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial, and appeal.
In addition to bankruptcy litigation, I regularly advise clients on financial restructuring strategies, contract disputes, business workouts, and liquidity challenges. My finance background enables me to develop practical legal solutions that address both the legal and operational issues facing distressed businesses.
Before joining Wenokur Riordan in 2019 and becoming a Partner in 2022, I operated my own insolvency and business litigation practice while also serving as Of Counsel to firms representing Chapter 7 trustees, businesses, and victims of complex real estate fraud. Earlier in my career, I practiced commercial litigation, lender liability, and real estate litigation in both New York and California, experiences that continue to inform my multidisciplinary approach to restructuring matters.
I am admitted to practice in Washington, California, New York, and New Jersey. Although I am based in Seattle, Washington, my IWIRC membership is affiliated with the Northern California Network, and I regularly work with clients and professionals across multiple jurisdictions. I welcome referrals involving bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency litigation, receiverships, creditors' rights, and related commercial disputes.
I earned my B.A. from New York University, my J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where I served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Corporate & Financial Law, and my M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy competitive cycling, distance running, yoga, knitting, and participating in charity cycling events. I am also fluent in Hebrew.
