Amy has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on legal and reputational issues including special situations ranging from complex financial restructurings to litigation, FCPA investigations, internal investigations, and cybersecurity matters.

She draws upon her expertise as senior legal counsel on some of the largest Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructuring situations during her time as a Partner at the law firms Linklaters and Jones Day. Amy continues to serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at public and private companies as varied as Boards and senior management teams, investors and investor relations groups, and creditors to help them anticipate, navigate, and solve their biggest reputational, financial, and legal challenges.

Prior to joining Teneo, Amy was a partner at Kekst CNC. Amy was also a Restructuring & Insolvency Partner at Linklaters. While there, she advised a wide range of counterparties, including companies, municipalities, bondholders, investors, and other stakeholders in all aspects of Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court-restructurings, acquisitions, and other distressed situations. Before that, Amy was a longtime Partner with Jones Day in their Business Restructuring and Reorganization Group, where she worked primarily on representing corporations in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, as well as on a full spectrum of restructuring alternatives, including debt workouts and asset dispositions. Amy began her restructuring career as an Associate at King & Spalding.

Amy is a member of the New York, District of Columbia, and Georgia Bars, as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and IWIRC. She was an inaugural winner of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers Award, won DCA Live’s Emerging Women Leaders in Private Practice, was recognized by Chambers USA as a “Leader in the Field,” and received M&A Advisor’s Energy Deal of the Year (over $100MM) Award. Amy formerly served on the global board of the Turnaround Management Association and as a former global co-chair of its Network of Women. She is also an Emeritus Member of the Board of Councilors of The Carter Center.

Amy holds a B.A. in Politics, magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University and a J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law, where she was a James L. Colson Scholar.
