Welcome to the IWIRC Delaware Network

The Delaware Network has grown rapidly since its inception in 2003 and is the proud recipient of the Ryan Award for Outstanding IWIRC Network for 2012. The Ryan Award is granted to the IWIRC Network that best exemplifies IWIRC every year, and it is such an honor to be recognized in this way.

The Delaware Network provides opportunities for the advancement and professional development of women working in the insolvency and restructuring practice by creating networking, business development, educational and mentoring opportunities in Delaware. A publicly searchable member directory allows members to create a customized profile that leverages the power of the technology to find potential clients, contacts, or referral sources. Members can highlight particular expertise, experience, cases or client outcomes; they can define and promote services in a unique market niche, or offer local counsel representation.

Additionally, throughout the year, the Delaware Network sponsors various events for members and nonmembers. These events include: guest speakers, mentoring luncheons, educational events, cocktail hours, charitable activities, new member events, and other social and networking events. These events strengthen and solidify professional relationships and enhance professional development. Our Annual Holiday Party is a signature event in Delaware and is well attended by the bankruptcy bar, financial advisors and other restructuring professionals, as well as the bankruptcy bench. The Delaware Network is strongly supported by many Delaware law firms and businesses and, consequently, many events are complimentary or offered at a significant discount to members.

The Delaware Network seeks to expand its membership and strive to develop new and enhanced programs. Membership is open to all restructuring professionals (men and women) – lawyers, financial advisors, lenders, turnaround managers, and claims managers.
