On 4 July 2013, over 110 professionals gathered for the fourth annual IWIRC Great Debate.
This year’s topic – ‘Insolvency professionals make a valuable contribution to society’ – was particularly thought provoking to an audience of industry professionals!
Moderated by David Kidd of David Kidd & Co. for the third year running, a strong team compromised of Ian De Witt (Tanner De Witt), Melissa Obegi (Bain Capital) and Marelize Coetzee (HSBC), debating against the motion, claimed victory over their opponents for the affirmative, Sarah Bower (KPMG), Hoi-Lem Lee (Kroll) and Ian Mann (Harneys).
Both teams brought their arguments to life with some creative images of the superheroes/villains (depending on your view!) of our industry.
