A dedicated, trailblazing trial attorney, Adine S. Momoh is an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota. She heads the Office's Bankruptcy Unit, serving as its Bankruptcy Coordinator, and represents the United States and its agencies in bankruptcy cases throughout Minnesota. She also handles various affirmative and defensive matters for the United States, such as fraud, civil rights enforcement, and immigration. Adine’s bankruptcy and trial experience covers both the public and private sectors. She has handled matters involving bankruptcy appeals, Ponzi schemes, AML (anti-money laundering), tax litigation under the Internal Revenue Code, cash collateral, DIP financing, 363 sales, plan confirmation, claim and administrative expense resolution and defense, fraudulent conveyance, preferential transfers, and other avoidance actions. Previously, Adine was an equity partner at Stinson LLP, where she leveraged her experience in estates and trusts litigation, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, Ponzi scheme defense, and appeals to lead a team of attorneys to provide sophisticated advice and advocacy when disputes arose involving wealth management, wealth transfer, and tax strategy.
