Welcome to the IWIRC Western Canada Network

The IWIRC Western Canada Network was established in 2011 and consists of four provinces – Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

Our network hosts a variety of events each year in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg, including networking luncheons and cocktail receptions, educational and professional development programs, fitness and wellness activities and charitable projects. Each event is designed to help women in insolvency and restructuring meet with other women in the field, gain valuable practice insights, and establish a reputation for themselves and their firms or companies.

Membership for the Western Canada Network is now over 100 members and growing.  In 2024, the Western Canada Network received the Ryan Award as the IWIRC Network that best exemplified IWIRC in the past calendar year.  This marked the second time that the Western Canada Network has received the Ryan Award.

We welcome all bankruptcy and insolvency practitioners across Western Canada to join our network and discover the benefits that IWIRC has to offer.
