Welcome to the IWIRC Northeast Ohio Network!

Created in 2001, we are dedicated to enhancing the professional status of women in all disciplines of insolvency and restructuring.  The Northeast Ohio Network (“NEON”) promotes communication, common interest and community among all insolvency practitioners.  We welcome as members and participants at our events lawyers, judges, financial advisors, lenders, turnaround managers, information and claims management specialists and other related restructuring and insolvency practitioners.

NEON focuses on (a) promoting communication among industry professionals, (b) enhancing business development and professional development, and (c) creating educational and mentoring opportunities.

Throughout each year, we host and partner with other organizations, like the Turnaround Management Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, to provide a wide variety of social and educational programs.  We host events:  (1) educating attendees on important topics (including the current status of the bankruptcy industry and the finer points of whiskey tasting); (2) honoring Judges; (3) discussing books; and (4) providing excellent networking.   Every year, NEON hosts the cocktail party following the first day of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association William J. O’Neill Regional Bankruptcy Institute.  Our Summer outing at Edgewater Yacht Club is a member favorite and our late Summer golf outing brings attendees from all over Ohio and Kentucky.  And at least twice each year, our local members travel outside of Ohio to attend International IWIRC gatherings held in conjunction with the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

New members are always welcome, and if you have any questions, we are always happy to meet you for a drink or a cup of coffee.  If you’re visiting Northeast Ohio from a sister network, please let us know so we can grab a bite to eat and get to know one another.
