Welcome to the IWIRC Midwest Network

The IWIRC Midwest Network continues to grow its membership and add exciting networking and educational opportunities.  The Midwest Network has become known for its Annual Spa Retreat & Dinner Celebration +CLE in Kansas City every fall.  Members have energized the IWIRC Midwest Network with an expanded social media footprint, membership recruitment, and sponsorship drives.

IWIRC Midwest Network members are involved with IWIRC at the local, regional, national and international levels.   It was formed to bring together the many women professionals who focus on insolvency and restructuring in the Midwest.  The network provides members opportunities for meaningful connections with other professionals in a multitude of industries.

The Midwest Network consists of Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, North Dakota, and South Dakota, and has special connections with IWIRC Wisconsin, IWIRC Minnesota, and IWIRC Arizona.

IWIRC membership benefits are unmatched and enhance the careers of everyone from new practitioners looking to build contacts and expand business development skills, to seasoned professionals providing mentoring and leadership skills.  The Midwest Network provides the benefits of networking and referral sources for professionals in both local and national businesses – including financial service organizations, small law firms, large law firms, corporate entities, and government agencies.

The Mentoring Committee of IWIRC Midwest Network has been especially established to support our members.  The Committee is made up of judges, as well as senior and junior bankruptcy attorneys who have all devoted significant time to mentoring.  This Committee also presented a new CLE on mentoring that was much appreciated by attendees.

In addition to expanding its members’ professional circles, the Midwest Network plans to organize charitable/support events, enabling members to connect with the community and in the spirit of cooperation, give back to the communities we serve.

The associated benefits of the national and international elements of IWIRC membership are endless.  These benefits include a speaker’s bureau, publishing channels, leadership development, national conferences and many, many more.  Whether you are interested in expanding your client base, advancing your expertise and education, publishing in your field of interest, or just looking for a highly acclaimed professional organization where you can connect with a lot of really great people – IWIRC is for you.

We encourage all insolvency and restructuring women professionals in the Midwest to join us in our pursuit of professional growth and development!
