Welcome to the IWIRC Chicago Network

Founded in 2003, the IWIRC Chicago Network has grown to nearly 75 members, including attorneys, accountants, turnaround managers, investment bankers, law clerks, students and other insolvency professionals. The Chicago Network joins IWIRC’s other networks throughout the world in furthering the mission of IWIRC – To enhance the professional status and reputation of women in the insolvency practice through networking events, professional development, mentoring and leadership opportunities.

The Chicago Network hosts several events each year that foster and provide unique opportunities for networking and professional growth. These events include the Annual Cooking and Networking Event, which has served as the yearly kick-off event for the Chicago Network since 2009, and the Annual High Tea held each December at which over 100 women have the opportunity to network with other insolvency professionals. In addition, we hold one or more educational events each year on relevant and timely topics.

Membership in the Chicago Network provides a large networking and referral base in the Chicago area, leadership opportunities and mentoring from other professionals in the same field. In fact, in 2008, the Chicago Network received the Ryan Award for outstanding IWIRC network of the year. If you work in the Chicago area, we hope you will consider joining IWIRC and come join us!
