Welcome to the IWIRC Channel Islands Network

IWIRC Channel Islands Network Launched

November 1, 2022, Stanardsville, VA-IWIRC is pleased to announce the launch of the Channel Islands Network as its 53rd Network on October 26, 2022.

The Network expands IWIRC’s reach in Europe and offers opportunities for excellent networking opportunities locally as well as regionally with Europe, London, Scotland and Ireland Networks.

IWIRC Chair, Jennifer Kimble with Lowenstein Sandler, New York, stated, The Executive Board is thrilled to welcome the Channel Islands Network as IWIRC’s 53^rd Network. IWIRC’s growth throughout Europe is a testament to IWIRC’s mission and the desire to be part of an organization of women supporting women in the restructuring and insolvency industries.

The inaugural board of the Network includes Co-Chairs, Sarah Brehaut of Walkers and Andrea Harris of Grant Thornton. Sharifah Morris of Solve with be Treasurer. Rounding out the team as Secretary is Helena Lavin of Walkers Global. The four Network leaders shared with IWIRC, “We are delighted to be launching the Channel Islands Network of IWIRC. Having attended IWIRC events in other jurisdictions, we have seen the benefits of IWIRC’s work in connecting women working in insolvency and restructuring, and the hallmark of quality that IWIRC represents. We are looking forward to creating a platform for women involved in the sector in the Channel Islands to join an organisation of more than 2,000 professionals worldwide to network, make connections and learn from other women in the field.”

The first network event is planned on November 11 at the St. Pierre Hotel and Spa. We welcome the new Network and look forward to being inspired, informed and connected by IWIRC’s newest network and new members in the Channel Islands.
