Welcome to the IWIRC Carolinas Network
The Carolinas Network of IWIRC was founded August 6, 2003 under the leadership of Judy Thompson and Tracy Gopal. The membership includes attorneys, turnaround professionals, bankers and other insolvency professionals who reside in North Carolina or South Carolina. The chapter is part of an international network consisting of nearly 850 members which promotes the goal of enhancing the professional status of women in the insolvency industry through networking events, professional development, mentoring and leadership opportunities.
The Carolinas Network holds several events a year providing opportunities to network with other insolvency professionals. Social events, such as an annual Spa Day, as well as lunches and dinners with expert speakers are held. Each summer the Carolinas Network joins with other networks in the Southeast to host a reception at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Annual Bankruptcy Workshop. The membership also participates in national functions for networking with women from around the country.
