Launch of the IWIRC Malaysia Network
The IWIRC Malaysia Network celebrated its formal launch on 26 April 2017. The launch party was held at the Sage Restaurant and Wine Bar in Kuala Lumpur. The launch party was well attended by approximately 100 guests, both men and women in the field of insolvency and restructuring, including lawyers, accountants, liquidators, bankers and regulators.
The evening started with a welcome address and short speech from our co-chairperson, Ira Biswas (Chooi & Company, Kuala Lumpur), which was followed by a few words from Pooja Sinha (Howse William Bowers; Hong Kong), an At Large Director on the IWIRC International Board of Directors.
The keynote address was delivered by Judge of the Court of Appeal Malaysia, Datuk Nallini Pathmanathan.
Our co-chairperson, Leong May Lee, then delivered a short closing speech.
After the round of speeches, guests stayed on to socialise and network while enjoying the free flow of wines and beautifully crafted canapes.
