On 15 April 2013, the Hong Kong network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (“IWIRC”) hosted a lunchtime seminar with two speakers from the restructuring and insolvency profession in the region.
James Dubow of Alvarez & Marsal and Mark Fucci of Bingham McCutchen shared their experiences and their views on the appointment and the use of a Chief Restructuring Officer in the context of restructuring in Asia. The speakers facilitated a lively discussion amongst the attendees based around a case study of a restructuring of a group, the structure of which was typical to those seen in Asia and the issues faced by the group.
The event was well attended with over 55 professionals enjoying the presentation.
