DESCRIPTION:IWIRC Scotland Network are hosting a panel discussion on “Restructuring Plans: Updates & Insights”\, sponsored by Addleshaw Goddard LLP. \n\n\n\nPlease join us for our next Be Informed Event hosted by IWIRC Scotland and sponsored by Addleshaw Goddard LLP. The panel discussion will focus on the topic ‘Restructuring Plans: Update & Insights’\, starting at 12.30pm on Thursday 30 July 2026. \nThe event will be held at Addleshaw Goddard’s office in Edinburgh and there will be a virtual platform for those who are unable to join in person. The panel will be chaired by Courtney Clelland\, Managing Associate at Addleshaw Goddard LLP and Co-Chair of IWIRC Scotland and our speakers are: (i) Elisabeth Roxburgh\, Advocate at Axiom Advocates; (ii) Jamie McIntosh\, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard LLP (iii) Adrian Bell\, Partner at Morton Fraser MacRoberts; and (iv) Kirsty Baillie\, Associate Director at RSM. \nThe panel will share their perspectives on (i) the current landscape following the trilogy of Restructuring Plans in the Court of Session and more recently\, the judgment in Waldorf CNS (1) Limited; (ii) what this means for the Scottish market; (iii) how the Scottish court process differs to that in England and the differing approach taken by court reporters; and (iv) the challenges and lessons learned over the last year. \nThis event is for both IWIRC Scotland members and non-members and is free for all to attend. Although framed around legal careers\, the session will offer insights relevant to all professionals operating in the R&I space. \nThe panel will be chaired by EIDG Vice-Chair and IWIRC Scotland committee member\, Amy McVey and our panellists will be: \n\nSian Aitken\, Partner\, CMS\nSheana Campbell\, Advocate\, Ampersand Advocates\nPamela Atkinson\, Lloyds Banking Group\n\nThe event will start at 5.30pm with some pre-networking and drinks\, with the panel session starting around 6pm.
