Smitha Menon
Smitha Menon is Vice President of the International Insolvency Institute and Head of the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice at WongPartnership. She is also a Partner in the firm’s International Arbitration and India Practices. She advises on transnational restructurings, insolvencies, and distressed situations across Asia. Smitha serves as Asia Group Leader of the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group at the World Law Group. She is also Secretary of the Financial Women’s Association (Singapore), a board member of the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore, and a member of the World Bank Insolvency and Climate Change Working Group. In 2020, she received the IWIRC Woman of the Year in Restructuring (Asia) Award from the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
Emma Thompson
Emma is a Partner at FRP Advisory with extensive experience in restructuring and recovery services. A licensed Insolvency Practitioner with a focus on global asset tracing and managing contentious insolvency matters, she is known for contributions to high-profile disputes, investigations, and litigation involving misfeasance, breaches of duty, and asset recovery for creditors of insolvent estates. Emma has over two decades of professional experience in personal and corporate insolvency, including local and international asset tracing, enforcement actions, and investigations with a keen interest in all things related to the digital sector.
Jennifer Fox
Jennifer Fox is a Partner at Ogier and Head of the Dispute Resolution team in the Cayman Islands. She is a leading offshore disputes lawyer with over 18 years’ experience across the Cayman Islands and BVI, with a particular focus on insolvency and restructuring matters.
Jennifer regularly advises insolvency practitioners, creditors, funds and financial institutions on complex, cross‑border restructurings, contentious insolvencies, and related commercial disputes. Her practice includes civil fraud and asset tracing, often in support of recovery strategies in distressed and enforcement scenarios, as well as disputes involving investment funds and digital assets.
She is particularly recognised for her work on multi‑jurisdictional insolvency and fraud matters, including cases involving asset recovery, office holder powers, and stakeholder disputes. Jennifer frequently works alongside onshore counsel on coordinated recovery and restructuring strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Juliana Sato
Juliana Sato is a Brazilian lawyer and holds postgraduate degrees in Law and IT Management, along with executives programs in Comparative Insolvency Law and Administration at prestigious international institutions. With over a decade of experience in insolvency, restructuring, special situations, and distressed assets. As Head of Structured and Private Debt Strategy at eNor Securities, she advises on complex transactions and innovative financing structures across Brazil and El Salvador. Her work focuses on cross-border restructuring opportunities, creditor strategies, and the intersection of insolvency frameworks with emerging digital asset regulations.
