Join IWIRC DC for a workshop where participants will break ceramic vases and then repair them using kintsugi techniques.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, the art of repairing broken pottery with gold, this workshop invites you to reflect on your own story of resilience. Participants will gently break their own ceramic vase and learn how to mend it using kintsugi techniques. As you restore your piece, you’ll be guided through meaningful reflection, honoring the idea that our cracks and challenges can become part of our greatest beauty and strength.
