Please join the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Greater Maryland Networks, together with the TMA Chesapeake Chapter’s Network of Women, on Monday, June 22 at 12:00 p.m. ET for the Fifth Annual Judges Panel: Exhibit A: Why Experts Matter.
This year’s panel will feature distinguished bankruptcy judges from across the Chesapeake Region:
- The Hon. Elizabeth L. Gunn, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia
- The Hon. B. McKay Mignault, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia
- The Hon. Maria Ellena Chavez-Ruark, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland
- The Hon. Michelle M. Harner, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland
The panel will explore the role of experts in bankruptcy proceedings, including expert testimony, evaluating expert reports, preparing experts for presentation to the court, and other practical and strategic considerations involving expert witnesses in bankruptcy cases.
The discussion will be moderated by Olivia Woodmansee, Term Law Clerk to the Hon. Elizabeth L. Gunn.
