On June 16, 2011, the DC Network held its Spring Event, a private tour of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, followed by a networking reception. The group toured galleries featuring historic American art, including Frederic Church’s Niagara, and enjoyed a highly informative and interesting overview of the paintings, the artists and the historical context in which they lived and worked. A networking reception at the W Hotel followed the tour. The event, free for new members, was sponsored by Capstone Advisory Group and Paul, Weiss Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP. It was attended by over two dozen restructuring professionals practicing in the D.C. area. The DC Network would like to thank Susan Budd from AlixPartners, LLP, Renee Poutous Barry, from Capstone Advisory Group, Lauren McKelvey from Wiley Rein LLP, Julie Johnson, from the FDIC, and the other Board members for their great efforts organizing and marketing the event.
