IWIRC Washington, DC Board Member Rosa Evergreen Elected Partner at Arnold & Porter LLP

On March 3, 2014, Arnold & Porter LLP announced that it elected four new partners to the firm – among them Rosa Evergreen, the Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Committee for the IWIRC Washington, DC Network. Rosa is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring group in Washington, DC.

The firm’s announcement (click here for the full press release) describes Rosa’s many accomplishments in the bankruptcy field. “Ms. Evergreen has experience in all aspects of bankruptcy, including complex Chapter 11 cases, asset dispositions and bankruptcy litigation, as well as out of court restructurings and receivership cases. She also handles commercial litigation matters and maintains an active pro bono practice. Ms. Evergreen has been involved in a number of large bankruptcies, and has acted on behalf of corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, bondholders, trade vendors and suppliers, private equity funds, investors and asset purchasers, and individuals and businesses involved in bankruptcy court litigation. Ms. Evergreen is currently serving as a research fellow for the American Bankruptcy Institute Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11, and has lectured at a number of bankruptcy-related continuing legal education programs. She obtained her J.D., where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, and an MBA from William & Mary. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University.”

Rosa, an active member of the Washington, DC Network of IWIRC, joined the Network’s Board of Directors as Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Committee in 2013.
